Jill has been making birds of all kinds including a 25-foot wingspan crane kite that flies at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle alongside 350 hand-folded paper cranes. Her art also appears in a rock musical, children’s books, murals, and an animated tv commercial. MORNINGBIRD stole her heart and she thinks children and adults will love to play along. We’ve also created a tiny film with handmade props that you’ll see in the book and we hope young readers will be inspired to make their own creations.
